Employing a collaborative model of care, our surgeons work with anesthesiologists and the OR staff, along with other members of your healthcare team to ensure a patient-centered continuum of care.

Mammography & Breast Health
The MV Hospital Mammography Department offers comprehensive diagnostic and mammography screening services through the Diagnostic Imaging Department of our affiliate, Massachusetts General Hospital. Our Mammography Department is staffed by physicians from Mass General where the results are read and evaluated. We also perform diagnostic ultrasound and breast exams.
The MV Hospital Surgical Services Department offers consultations with a surgeon with specialized experience in breast health and needle and surgical biopsy.

Mammograms are offered: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Diagnostic exams are offered with a MGH radiologist every Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to noon
Outpatients should register at the admitting desk in the Emergency Department waiting area before scheduled screenings.
