• Over 30% of the total material cost of the new addition is locally extracted and manufactured (within 500 miles), thereby supporting local businesses and indigenous resources and reducing environmental impacts from transportation.

Minimum Construction Waste

• Over 80% of construction and demolition waste during construction of the building has been diverted from landfills.

Recycle

• Collection and storage areas have been provided for recyclable materials to facilitate the reduction of landfill waste. Please help us by throwing your waste in the proper recycle bin.

Recycled Content

• Over 20% of total materials cost is from recycled content in the building materials. Recycled materials reduce the impacts resulting from extraction and processing of virgin materials.
